New collaboration: Great State and Longleat Safari Park
We are so happy and beyond excited to announce that Longleat Safari Park has selected Great State as their strategic digital partner.
We’ll be working hard to translate the one-of-a-kind immersive experience of a Longleat adventure into an equally immersive digital experience!
In 1966, Longleat opened the first Safari Park outside of Africa, and since then has been delighting families from across the UK by allowing them to get up close to wildlife. Today, the Park is home to more than 120 species and visitors can immerse themselves in the rich history of the estate by exploring all that Longleat House has to offer. The organisation’s work has global impact through its ongoing conservation of vulnerable and endangered species.
Determined to maintain its position as one of the UK’s most recognisable and visited attractions, Longleat wants to find new ways to bring its customers into its one-of-a-kind wildlife world, long before they step foot in the park. Our partnership will elevate an immersive digital experience that is as unique as the one on the ground.
We’ll be helping nearly one million annual visitors make the most of their adventures, further building upon Longleat’s offering as a digital learning destination, while continuing to bring the amazing conservation stories about their much-loved animals to life.
Working to enhance the cohesive experience for all customers, we plan to design an experience which immerses users and responds to their needs at every stage of their Longleat adventure. From the moment they begin planning their visit ‘til long after they’ve left the park.
To start, our initial efforts will focus on working with the team to create a new, re-imagined Longleat website, whilst we advise and guide on the potential future of the organisation’s wider digital experience. The possibilities to generate a joyful impact through digital are as far reaching as they are exciting, and we can’t wait to get to work.
John Broughton, Sales and Marketing Director at Longleat
“Our relationship with our guests has never changed, but as different generations visit the park, we’re seeing that their needs have. We knew it was the right moment for us to invest in the digital experience we offer, so we wanted a partner which could work with the in-house team to deliver what our guests love and bring it to the digital world. Great State got it from day one. They honoured the brand, our ethos, our work, and showed an unwavering dedication to the needs of our visitors. We’re thrilled to have them on board."
David Chandler, Joint Managing Director at Great State
“This is a really exciting partnership for everyone. Many of us at Great State have our own Longleat stories, from childhood or with our own families. We’re eager to get to work and create a deeply transformative digital customer experience that captures the memories and charm of a Longleat day out.”
Jinny Mitchell-Kent, Joint Managing Director at Great State
“There was such a strong alignment very early on in the process with Longleat. It’s a wonderful opportunity to partner with an organisation that does really fantastic work and to enhance a robust user-centric experience for such an amazing visitor attraction. We’re very much looking forward to joining them on this adventure and delivering a digital experience that is Longleat worthy.”
